£5 admission with all proceeds going to The Alzheimer's Society.

Balloon Release at Nostalgic Love-a-Fayre

Hi guys and gals,

Just to let you know that we are going to have a balloon release at the end of the event so it will be worth sticking around for!

We have 60 Alzheimer's Society balloons ready to be filled with helium and released in to the sky next Thursday!

 Pretty!

We will be charging a donation of £1 for a balloon with your name and email address on it so whoever finds it can email you and let you know how far your balloon got.

We are hoping it will create more awareness of our endeavor as well as the event.

It will also look beautiful! So make sure you're part of the fun!

Dementia & Alzheimer's- Are you aware?

Dementia is a term used to describe various different brain disorders that have in common a loss of brain function that is usually progressive and eventually severe.

If you would like to learn more about this devastating illness then here is a short docu-film made by the NHS which highlights the effects of Alzheimer's not only on its victims but also their loved ones.

Nostalgic Love-a-Fayre aims to promote the charity while raising funds as well. We also think it's important for people to enjoy our event as it is associated with this charity.



The fayre will have lots of wonderful things to see and do that a reminiscent of a traditional, vintage inspired fete, but at the same time has a contemporary twist for today's consumers.


Information about the chairty and its cause will be available at the fete but however much you get involved on the day your support will be truely valued.

The Nostalgic Love-A-Fayre

Nostalgic Love-a-Fayre will be a wonderfully pleasant afternoon with vintage clothing stalls and fashion shows, make-up, hot and cold food, George's fresh lemonade, arts, crafts, games, cupcakes galore and sunshine!

We'll be there from 12 so pop down for lunch and a chat.

Spend a leisurely afternoon browsing the stalls of beautiful clothing and crafts.

Indulge in some guilt-free sweet treats (it's all for charity!!).

And if you can't make it until the evening then don't worry, we'll still be there when you finish work!

The fete is free admission and proceeds are going to The Alzheimer's Society.

Swishin the night away...

For another inventive FUNdraiser we have organised a night of clothes swapping at The Hare & Hounds pub in Kings Heath.

The new car boot! (and we are there!)

Keeping within our theme of traditionally kitsch events, our next fundraiser will be a stall at a "Bar Boot" day at The Hare and Hounds pub in Kings Heath.

Make room in your diaries as it is this Saturday (8th May) from 1pm-5pm.

A brand-new spin on your typical car boot sale, the bar boot takes place inside the pub so come rain or shine we will be there with our wears!

You can enjoy lunch or drinks in the pub while you browse our fabulous stall and do your bit for charity!

So come see us- it's all for a good cause so happy spending :)

Nostalgic Love-a-Fayre

To raise money for Alzeimer's we are throwing a quintessentially kitsch fete with a nostalgic twist.

Nostalgic Love-a-Fayre aims to reminisce the memories and generation of Alzeimer's sufferers in a tasteful, fun and traditional yet contemporary way.

In the lead up to the fete we will be staging many creative fundraisers that are fitting to the theme of the main event, including bake sales, swishing events and raffles.
